Gwi Joo, once able to revisit happy moments of his past with his superpower, drowns his sorrows in depression. His mother’s superpower of precognitive dreams is stifled by insomnia. Their family dynamic takes a turn when they meet Do Da-Hae, a mysterious woman who potentially holds the key to bring their powers back.

2. JOY OF LIFE 2 (China)

Joy of Life 2, picks up right after the shocking cliffhanger of season one. Our protagonist, Fan Xian is back shrouded in mystery and determined to root out the corruption plaguing the Kingdom of Qing.

Be prepared for epic showdowns against foes both out in the open and lurking in the shadows, more chaos, secrets being revealed, all while Fan Xian relies on his loyal network of friends and supporters. Devastated by the death of a popular celebrity, Ryu Sun-Jae, Im Sol, a dedicated fan stumbles upon an unexpected opportunity – time travel. Fuelled by grief and a burning desire to save Sun-Jae, Sol embarks on a hilarious and heartwarming journey back in time.

However, things don’t go quite as planned. Back to her younger self, she must navigate the life lived again, all while trying to get close to her idol and prevent the tragedy that awaits him. As Sol interacts with Sun-Jae, they develop a genuine bond, filled with humour and a sense of shared vulnerability.  The past Sol ventured into holds more secrets than she ever imagined. Layers begin to peel back, revealing connections to Sun-Jae she never knew existed. 

But amidst the budding romance, a layer of suspense emerges. The future Sol knows doesn’t seem to be set in stone. Strange events begin to unfold, the tragedy seems to be knocking again hinting at a greater conspiracy beyond Sun-Jae’s initial demise.

As Miyabi interacts with Tomoharu, she’s drawn to his unorthodox approach to medicine and his unwavering belief in the power of human connection. His methods help Miyabi as a patient, and as a doctor. As the story unfolds, the secrets buried within Miyabi’s lost memories are revealed and the potential connection it might have to Tomoharu. 

You might need to dig a little deeper to find streaming information for this lesser-known gem, but it promises a unique and rewarding viewing experience.
